Pure Comfort: Aluminum and Baking Soda-Free Gentle Deodorant Stick 

Aluminum, commonly found in antiperspirants, blocks sweat glands by forming a temporary plug in the sweat ducts. This reduces or completely stops perspiration.  Many people experience itchiness and rashes with antiperspirants and aluminum is the usually the culprit!

Baking soda has a very high PH for delicate underarm skin and can cause irritation, rashes and skin darkening over time.  While it's effective at neutralizing odors, and is found in many natural deodorants, it may not work well for all skin types, and prolonged use could exacerbate irritation.  Many people experience itchy skin from using deodorant with baking soda so we make ours baking soda-free.

Natura Butters and Oils to moisturize your skin and add a gentle barrier. 

Candelilla Wax:  This vegan, hypoallergenic wax has a higher melting point meaning it won't melt or get sticky in warm weather.  

Zinc Ricinoleate:  Naturally occurring substance that deodorizes and soothes your skin.

Diatomaceous Earth:  Another natural substance that absorbs odour and kills bacteria.  

Please Note:  Botanic Fresh does not contain Zinc or DE but does contain clay, a natural odour absorbing ingredient.  

Charcoal and Tea Tree Deodorant adds an extra layer of deodorizing.  Charcoal works by absorbing moisture and odour, while the Tea Tree oil adds a layer of antibacterial goodness.  The charcoal in this deodorant tends to show black on the skin so please rub in really well so that the charcoal will not come off on clothing. 

Tip:  deodorants work better by applying immediately after showering. 

How to Use:

1. Twist up the deodorant stick.
2. Glide gently onto clean, dry underarms.
3. Allow a few seconds for it to absorb.
4. Feel fresh and ready to take on the day!
